Sourate Istikhara

Sourate Istikhara does not refer to a specific chapter (Surah) in the Qur’an. Instead, it is a term often used to refer to the prayer (Salat) of Istikhara and the dua (supplication) recited during it. There is no Surah named “Istikhara.”

When performing Salat Istikhara, after the two rakats of prayer, Muslims recite the Dua Al Istikhara (the supplication for guidance). You may choose to recite any Surah after Surah Al-Fatiha in the rakats, but there is no specific Surah designated for Istikhara.
